She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Ida Marie Potter (Carlson); her brothers, Nicholas Adair Bainbridge and Carl Potter; her husband David Wesley Slocum; her son Walter John Slocum; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Potter Slocum, Lila Grace and Steven Chance Slocum.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
