He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Reyes and Nellie Reyes (Whittaker); his wife Katherine Ortiz; and his pet Cubbie. He is survived by: his former wife Cindy Hill (McAtee); his children, Mary Walenga, Joe Reyes (Wendy), Julie Johnson (Rob), Moline, Diana Grossman (Chuck), Patrick Reyes (Tina), Sarah VanSant (Glen), Rob Hill (Christine) and Emily Hill (Ryan Nix); his grandchildren, Nicholas Reyes of Davenport, Justin Reyes of Davenport, Brandon Reyes (Lynn) of Davenport, Tyler Reyes (Ambrea) of Davenport, Logan DePover (Teah) of Davenport, Marshall DePover (Haylee) of Davenport, Hannah DePover of Davenport, Katie Steege (Jason) of Davenport, Amanda VanSant (Shawn Gahagan) of Davenport, Josh VanSant of Davenport, Bradley, Erin and Connor Hill; his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Oscar, Gabriella, Justin, Jr., Ruby, Sofia, Audie, Mila, Lou, Edie, Addie, Chase and Gracelyn; and his siblings, Bob, John, Frank Reyes, Betty Carrillo and Theresa Creviston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral or Assumption High School.
