She was predeceased by: her parents, Anselm Ruhl and Evelyn Ruhl; her pet Rocky; her husband David Bingham Hanson; and her siblings, Colleen Ryan and Gary Ruhl (Alene).

She is survived by: her sister Mary Karen (Jeffrey) Perme (Ruhl); her brother-in-law Donald "Terry" Ryan; and her sibling's children, Tracy Kramer, Jodi Bender (Rod), Kerry Marquette (Jeremy), Kelly Jackson, Scott Perme (Maria) and Dr. Aaron Perme (Jacky).

Memorials may be made to Assumption High School Davenport.
