She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Burke and DeMarys "Mickey" Burke (McDonnell); her husband James Allen Steiger; her son Jamie Steiger; her grandson Benjamin Stanley; her siblings, Mary Jo Early and Richard "Dick" Burke; and her brothers-in-law, Lee Early, Lou Scherz and Herb Steiger.
She is survived by: her children, Max Stanley (Sue) of Ponte Vedra, FL, Todd Stanley (Kelly) of Foxfield, CO, Dan Steiger (Ginger) of Butler, TN and Mary Sammon of Davenport; her grandchildren, Brenna White (Anthony), Danielle Skrogstad (Ron), Ryan Steiger, Jimmie Henry (Ashley), Lara Rich (Randy) and Brad Denney (Angela); and her sister Carole Scherz of Davenport. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or McAnthony's Window.
