He is survived by: his wife Judith McNamara; his son Thomas Petkunas (Beth) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Samantha Vrba (Chris), Alexis Petkunas and Anthony Petkunas; his stepgrandchildren, Victoria, Nathan and Allison; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Naomi, Davina, Wade and Jameson; his siblings, Phyllis Marten (Bernard) of Bettendorf and Gerald "Jerry" Petkunas of Bettendorf; and his nieces, Pamela Way (Steve) and Judith Ewing (Lantz).
