He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert E. "Jack" Spratt and Marilyn Spratt (Mosbey); his stepmother Lillian "Tootie" Spratt; and his brother Michael Spratt. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Wood (Dustin) of LeClaire, Iowa and Minoru Underhill (Tomoko) of San Antonio, Texas; his sisters, Cynthia Clayton (Tom) of Pennsylvania and Debbie McNeil (Frank) of Riverdale, Iowa; his niece Rebecca Oakhill (Brandon); and his nephew Michael Collins (Jen) of Bettendorf. He is also survived by great-nephews, great-nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
