He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rigby and Dorothy Rigby (Donahue); his siblings, Debbie Smith and Roger Rigby; and his niece Christina Rigby.
He is survived by: his children, Erin Rigby of Dubuque, Shannon Numkena (Nathan) of Bettendorf, Emily Rigby (Kyle) of Cedar Rapids and Caleb Rigby of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Gabe Rigby (Ary), Tynan, Ronan, Bronwyn Numkena, Callahan, Waylon Slater and Raelyn Rigby; his great grandchild Indi Rigby; and his siblings, Michael "Mick" Rigby (Joann), Patricia Rigby, Betty Beekman (Al), Kay Smith, Tim Rigby and Mary Fredericksen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A burial was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM and from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
