He is survived by: his wife Sue Schmuecker; his children, Lance Ehrman, Cassie Sawyer (Nick) and Christina Anderson (Chris); and his grandchildren, Harold Ehrman, George Ehrman, Dawson Sawyer, Kota Sawyer, Kinzey Sawyer, Jack Sawyer, Graham Anderson, Duncan Anderson and Oliver Anderson. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St John’s Catholic Church. A Mass was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (102 Benton St NE, Blairstown, IA 52209). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:45 AM at the St John’s Catholic Church. A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion (102 Benton St NE, Blairstown, IA 52209).
