He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Padget and Alma Eakins Padget; his wife Mary Ruby; his great grandchild Ryder Padget; his siblings, Danny Padget and Jane Ann Dicks; and his brothers-in-law, Charlie Dicks and Norman Lindley.
He is survived by: his sons, Marvin Padget of Ottumwa and Monty Padget (Nancy) of Ankeny, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kassandra Padget, Elizabeth Padget, Joshua Padget, Dustin Padget (Stephanie) and Ashley Padget; his great grandchildren, Carter, Ryleigh, Danielle, Elaina, Samantha, Michaela and Cameron; his siblings, Gail Padget (Diane) of Belknap, Larry Padget (Lori) of Fairfield, Iowa, Randy Padget (Margie) of Fairfield, Iowa, Doris Lindley of Bloomfield, Linda Fontanini (Gino) of Des Moines, Martha Padget of Bloomfield and Marsha Johnson (Alan) of Bloomfield; and his sister-in-law Marie Padget of Moravia, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to EveryStep Hospice in Centerville, Iowa.
