She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Spears and Henry Spears; her husband Ross Verdean Moore; her grandchildren, Scott Alan Moore, Nathan Alan Chidester, Michelle Lee Moore and Melissa Lynn Moore; and her siblings, William, Paul, John, Daniel, Harley Spears and Mary Spears Calhoon.

She is survived by: her children, Mikel Moore (Janet) and Patricia Chidester (Willie); her grandsons, Bobby Joe Chidester, Douglas Christopher Moore and James Mikel Moore; her sister Linda Spears; her siblings-in-law, Gerry Moore (Karen), LaVonne Bolin (Donald), Lorraine Spears (Bill) and Gwen Moore (Vernon); and her great grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Amber, Callem, Kayleen Moore and Tim D Chidester.

Memorials may be given to the Christian Women's Fellowship of the Blakesburg Christian Church, 203 W. Oak Street, Blakesburg, Iowa, 52536.
