He was predeceased by: his parents, David Wayne and Helen Marguerite Black Blankenship; and his daughter Amber Blankenship. He is survived by: his partner Kay Ballard of Bloomfield; and his grandchildren, Hunter Philips, Zyron Ince and Safron Hilburn.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ioof Cemetery (620 N Madison St, Bloomfield, IA 52537).
