It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Proctor (Bloomfield, Iowa), who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Proctor and Dorothea Proctor (Wycoff); and his in-laws, Harvey and Icil Parks. He is survived by: his significant other Nancy Parks; his son-in-law Pat Zamastil; his grandchildren, Holden Zamastil, Hannah Proctor and Piper Zamastil; his siblings, Rhonda Humpal (Fred) of Lake Rathbun, Gene Proctor (Patty) of Bloomfield and Gary Proctor (LouAnn) of Bashor, Kansas.; his daughter Haley Zamastil; his sisters-in-law, Elaine Faas of Ames and Rita Parks of Indianola; his son Jason; and his uncle Rex.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bloomfield Christian Church (107 N Davis St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Davis County Conservation, Izaak Walton League and the American Legion.
