He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest W. Smith and Gail Belle Conner Smith; and his siblings, Darrell Smith, Donald Smith, Deloris Joan Smith, Dorothy Wallace, Deana Snelling, Pauline Burdett, Doris Bodkins and Donna Harsch.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret A. Lundstrum; his children, Dennis Smith (Shannon) of Bloomfield and Rhonda Miller (Donnie) of Bloomfield; his grandsons, Justin Reed Miller, Ryan Eugene Miller (Sidney), Jason Dwayne Miller, Matthew Forrest Smith (Teawna) and Clayton Edward Smith (Madison); his great grandchildren, Reed, Rhett, Ellie and Kinsley; and his stepgreat-granddaughters, Della and Novah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
