We announce the death of Frank Jones (Bloomfield, Iowa), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 74. Frank will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland H. Jones and Olive Humphreys Jones. He is survived by: his children, Thad Jones (Lee) of Oskaloosa, Wes Jones (Mandy) of Bloomfield and Ronni Hays (Michael) of Kirksville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Anna Jones (Andy Lillegraven) of Decorah, Jacob Jones (Mya Helm) of St. Charles, Hayley, Hayden, Hayze Jones, Autumn and Jasmine Hays; his sister Doris Scantlen of Savannah, Iowa; his niece Angeline Martsching (Ron) of Bloomfield; and his nephew Joe Forsythe (Kim) of Bloomfield.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Cancer Research Institute.
