James Davis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Davis of Bloomfield, Iowa, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Elaine Davis; his son Marion Davis; his daughter-in-law Linda Davis; and his brother Charles Allen Davis (Bonnie). He is survived by: his children, Cindy Gordy (Ken), Mike Davis (Bonny), Roland Davis, Dan Davis, Nita O'Brien (David) and Carol Reed (Ron); and his siblings, Barbara Ann Walker (Bob) and Merrill Douglas Davis (Carol). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the Friends of the Bloomfield Public Library.
