With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lillian Ritz of Bloomfield, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lillian left this world on June 9, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Harvey and Clara Ann Zeitler Law; her husband Harvey Clyde Ritz; and her sisters, Iva Dell Roberts and Lovetta Jarvis.
She is survived by: her daughter Dedra Bower (Bill) of Bloomfield; and her grandchildren, Kristin Stevens of Ottumwa, Jeremy Bower (Ashlee) of Udell, Meghan Johnson (Cody) of Ottumwa, Jamie Bower of Eldon and Jason Bower (Salma) of Des Moines. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the Friends of the Bloomfield Library.
