He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Jones and Crystal Lanham Jones; and his siblings, Jack, James Jones and Patty Downing.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryll Ann McLane; his children, Travis Jones (Angela) of Bloomfield and Sarah Kearney (Matt) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandsons, Bradley Jones (Shelby), Justen Jones (Reagan Harris) and Logan Kearney; and his great grandchild Jaxton Jones.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Friends of the Bloomfield Public Library and the McGowan Recreation and Wildlife Area to be used for the walking trail.
