We announce the death of Ronald VanLaningham of Bloomfield, Iowa, born in Fairfield, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos E. VanLaningham and Donna Darlene Sedore VanLaningham. He is survived by: his girlfriend Karen Kittrell; his former wife Sherri Hardin (Smith); his children, Matt VanLaningham (Tonya) of Bloomfield, Leah VanLaningham of Milton, Michael VanLaningham of Milton and Chris VanLaningham (Julianne) of Orlando, Florida; his grandchildren, Caden, Cassidy, Claire, Myah, Benjamin, Andrew and Elizabeth; his brother Larry VanLaningham (Susan) of Fairfield, Iowa; his nephews, Jacob and Joshua; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Robert and Ryan Seber.
