She was predeceased by: her mother Pearl Garmon; and her grandparents, Clifford and Ruth Benge. She is survived by: her mother Darlene Marie Benge Garmon Jr. (Carl) of Bloomfield; her husband Joe Johnson; her children, Kacy Vermeulen (Johan) of Unionville, Kory Closser (Kristina) of Bloomfield, Emily Johnson of Maquoketa and Andrew Johnson of Ames, Iowa; her grandchildren, Maddison, Morgan, Myles, Maci, Mac and Landin; her great grandchildren, Tripp, Lainey and Ainslee; and her siblings, Renetta Blew (Steve) of Bloomfield, Stacey Garmon (Ivy) of Bloomfield, Kevin Ritz (Sally) of Cambridge and Dana Hale (David) of Floris, Iowa. She is also survived by many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family to be designated after services.
