He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Harris and Mary Howell Harris; his son William Neal; his siblings, Francis, Billy Lee Harris, Becky Ann Harris and Mary Beth Collier; his siblings-in-law, Irma Rios, Nancy Harris, Carole Raskie and Frank Rios; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Joann Harris; his daughters, Denice Blaine of Kirksville and Loretta "Lori" Taylor (Tanner Young) of St. Charles, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Luke Taylor (Nichole) of Blue Earth, Clint Taylor (Hanna) of St. Charles, Teagan Young of St. Charles and Deidre Blaine of Kirksville, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Jace Taylor, Jaxson Stricklen, Sophie Stricklen, Triggs Taylor, William Taylor, James Taylor and Berit Taylor; his siblings, Danny "Joe" Harris (Mary) of South Attleboro, Massachusetts and Cathy Reinier of Ottumwa, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Ruth Brown (Dave) of Rougemont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, friends and brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be designated at a later date.
