She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Benscoter and Anna Mae Burkhart Benscoter; her husband Charles Richard "Dick" Kruse; her son Charles Richard Kruse Jr.; and her sisters, Leona Preston and Anna Marie Vance.
She is survived by: her daughter Chris Kruse of Ottumwa; and her grandson Harley Hudson of Bloomfield.
A memorial has been established to the Davis County Dollars for Scholars.
