He was predeceased by: his father Darrell Blew; his grandparents, Virgil, Mary Robertson, Ernest and Emma Blew; and his great grandchild Phoenix.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Frances Robertson Blew of Ottumwa; his wife Judy; his children, Kari Kleinman (Clay) of Ottumwa, Mechell Blew of East Moline, Illinois and Shawn Blew (Amanda) of Ottumwa, Iowa; his grandchildren, Natasha Shelton, Emily Shelton, Tyler Cramer, Austin Cramer, Arianna Blew, Javier Ramirez and Manuel Ramirez; his great grandchild Liam Steffan; and his siblings, Steve Blew (Renetta) of Bloomfield, Donnie Blew (Vickie) of Moulton, Iowa, LaDonna Burns (Mike) of Atlanta and Julie Goode (Roger) of Ottumwa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Good Samaritan Society Hospice – Ottumwa.
