He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Conklin and Angelus Katherine Conklin (Williams); and his siblings, Delores Tovrea, Donnie Conklin, Curtis Conklin and David Conklin.

He is survived by : his wife Ellen Loetz; his children, Darrin Conklin of Davenport, Lori Owens (Dave) of Davenport, Traci Blake (Bobbie) of Davenport and Michelle Korver (Seth) of Davenport; and his brother Terry Conklin (Sandy) of Davenport. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
