He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Barton and Dorothy Barton. He is survived by : his wife Cathy; his children, Joyce Barton-Gerlach (Aaron Gerlach), David Barton (Lynn), Judy Barton, Cyndi "Fred" Howard (Kyle) and Bobbi Barton-Burk (Thomas "TJ"); his grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Sydney, Owen, Charlotte "Charlie" and Finley; and his siblings, Don Barton (Nancy) and Linda "Sam" Doerfler (Brian).
