He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hooreweghe and Clara Van Hooreweghe (Vergotte); his son Matthew; and his sister Carol Wenrich. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Peter Van Hooreweghe (Michelle Plum) of Dekalb, IL, Andrew Van Hooreweghe (Lori) of Cedar Falls, IA and Elizabeth Furuye (Greg); his stepson Luke Anderson (Julie) of Blue Grass, IA; his daughter-in-law Sara Van Hooreweghe (Dave Quint) of Lebanon, TN; and his brother Robert Van Hooreweghe of Cordova, IL.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
