It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank John Proske of Blue Grass, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Proske and Ella Mueller Proske; his siblings, Walter Proske and Ella Ehrecke; and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Ehrecke, Robert Pitts, Tom Verschoore and Chuck Verschoore.

He is survived by : his wife Loretta Verschoore; his children, Frank of Blue Grass, Joseph of Blue Grass and Rita Mourisse (Steve) of Washington; his grandchildren, Francie and David; his sisters, Ruth Pitts, Marge Lilienthal (Keith) and Joan Lilienthal (Dale); his sisters-in-law, Barbara Verschoore and Shirley Verschoore; and his friend Frank.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 711 or St. Andrew Catholic Church.
