With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Arvilla (Simmons) Jolliffe of Bonaparte, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Simmons and Dorothy I. Simmons; her husband Alfred Dwayne Jolliffe; and her sisters, Mary Ellen Kaness (Kenny), Elizabeth Calvert (Ed), Myrna Jeanne Kreiger (Tiny) and Margaret Louise Heald (Glenn).
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Smith of Des Moines, IA and John Jolliffe (Robin) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Maya Jolliffe of Ankeny and Aidan Cobb (Rachael Wojciechowski) of Toledo, OH.; and her friend Ann Ewing. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
