The passing of Margaret Joan Fogelson of Bondurant, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Cota and Florine Cota (Ripperger); her husband Larry; her grandsons, Nick Jesperson and Evan McGee; and her brother Tom Cota (Mary).
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Jackson (David) of Redondo Beach, Mike Fogelson (Monica) of Roach and Jeffrey Fogelson (Denise) of Ankeny, Iowa; her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson (Pete) of Hoboken, Nyle Fogelson (Brooke) of Pella, IA, Miles Fogelson (Bri) of Grimes, Megan Fogelson of Nashville and Trevor McGee (Liz) of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Jayven, Brecken, Benjamin, Evan, Lily and Cam; and her brother Ed Cota (Lois) of St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Iles Westover Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials in Margaret's name can be made to the Iowa Chapter Alzheimer's Association or St. Vincent de Paul of Des Moines.
