It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan L. Harris (Boone, Iowa), who passed away on March 3, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Allan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Harris and Alice Harris (Bennett); and his brothers, Darrell and Doran. He is survived by: his wife Deb of Ames; his brother Larry Harris (Audrey) of Sibley, Iowa; his son David A. Harris (Jackie) of Cedar Rapids; his grandson Thomas Harris (Paige); and his great grandchild Sage Harris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and several life long friends.
