She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Mapes and Irene Mapes (Morgan); her husband Jerry Lyons; her siblings, Violet Westphal and Jerry Mapes; and her daughter Myra Garrett.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Smith (Janey), Dan Smith (Diane), Eric Smith (Christina) and Scott Smith (Karen); her sister Terry Frank; and her son-in-law John Garrett. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
