She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Kruse and Gladys Kruse (Engleen); her husband Edward Brice; her siblings, Bonita "Bonnie" Kingsbury (Kruse), Benita Kruse and Dennis; and her niece Carleen Gunion.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Brice of Boone and Kathleen Brice; her child-in-law Deric Townsend of Gastonia; her daughter Julie Farris (Russell Farris) of Fort Mill; and her grandchildren, Suki and Luther Brice-Townsend of Gastonia, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charlene was a well-known character around central Iowa, with friends from all walks of life including her wonderful church and charity friends.
