Cindy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Cindy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Cindy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Silva and Constance Silva (Larrew); and her brother Clarence Silva. She is survived by: her husband Don Holmes; her children, Melissa Winsor (Chris), Chris Campbell and Steven Campbell; her grandchildren, Noah, Logan and Natilee; and her brothers, Tony Silva (Denise) and Jonny Silva. She is also survived by five nieces and one nephew; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel (1006 6th St, Boone, IA 50036). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Open Bible Church (1224 Hancock Dr, Boone, IA 50036).
