With solemn reverence, we commemorate Gary Floyd Weaklend of Boone, Iowa, born in Osceola, Iowa, whose life came to an end on July 20, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Weaklend and Gladys Weaklend; his siblings, Larry Weakland and Irma Watkins; and his sister-in-law Doris Weaklend.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Weaklend (Quayle); his daughters, Cari Engleen (Brian) of Boone, Kelli Wood (Chris) of Elizabeth City, NC. and Courtney Vessely (Chris) of Ankeny; his brother Dennis Weaklend; and his sister-in-law Becky Weakland of Clear Lake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel (1006 6th St, Boone, IA 50036).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made at the discretion of the family.
