He is survived by: his wife Karen McCool; his children, Jim McCool (Karen Green), Mary Bruscher and Patti Miller; his grandchildren, Austin McCool, Tony Miller, Joshua Miller, Cody Miller, Derik Miller, Brandon Bruscher and Caitlynn Bruscher; his great grandchildren, Alexis Browning, Aiden Miller, Serenity Miller and Vinny Miller; his stepgrandson Keaton Green; his brother Dennis McCool (Mary Jane); and his nephews, Michael McCool and Christopher McCool.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Boone.
