He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Hager and Maxine Hager (Mullins). He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy Rochholz of DeSoto, Iowa and Doug Hager of Boxholm, Iowa; and his siblings' children, Alex Rochholz, Evan Hager, Dillon Hager, Brandon Hager and Sophronia Hager.
