She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Bechard and Goldie Bechard (Maish); her husband LaVerne Erickson; her children, Danny Erickson and Diana Erickson; her granddaughter Jennifer Azinger; and her brother Eldred Bechard.
She is survived by: her children, Debi Strong (Bill) of Charlottesville, Virginia, Tom Erickson (Sandy) of Williamsburg, Iowa, John Erickson (Tonee) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Alan Erickson (Dee) of Castle Rock, Colorado and Gary Erickson of Tallahassee. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (915 12th St, Boone, IA 50036). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
