It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iola Leland of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Shell and Louise Shell (Tonsfeldt); her siblings, Mahlon, Mary Lou, Jane, Fran and Joyce; her husband John C. Leland (Jack); her sons, Dennis (Nancy), John (Laura) and Gary; her granddaughter Ann; and her siblings, Verdine, Karen, Emma, Leland and John.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Augustana Lutheran Church.
