He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Balcom and Grace Balcom (Johnson); his brothers, Clarence Balcom, Jr., Jim Balcom and Scott Balcom; and his son Cary Balcom.
He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Balcom; his children, Brenda Pipes, Curtis Balcom (Liz) and Clark Balcom (Alison); and his brothers, Bob Balcom (Margaret) and Paul Balcom (Connie). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Hidden Acres Christian Center or Westhaven Community.
