It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacquelyn Joanne Stecker of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on April 21, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ehrhardt and Margery Ehrhardt; her husband Stanley Stecker; her brother Kenneth Ehrhardt; her sons-in-law, Tom Howell and Don Potter; and her great grandchild Isaac Stecker.
She is survived by: her sister Jeanne Goode; her children, Mike Stecker (Becky), Deb Potter, Sue Howell, Michele Hull (Scott) and Tom Stecker (Maggie); her grandchildren, Chad Stecker (Holly), BJ Stecker (Kelly), Mark Stecker (Amanda), Andy Gus (Brit), Ali Schweizer (Aaron), Shana Rainey (Mark), Aaron Howell (Alicia), Sydney Stecker (Austin), Jake Stecker (Erin), Denise Potter (Matt) and Dawn Peta (Ron); and her great grandchildren, Ginny Fett, Keri, Derek Johnson, Eric Johnson and Sheryl Sauermann.
She volunteered with the RSVP Volunteer Program, IMPACT Food Pantry, and in the Boone County Hospital Gift Shop.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Pilot Mound United Methodist Church or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
