Jane left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Shell and Louise Shell (Tonsfeldt); her husband Jack Bass; her son-in-law Daryl Faust; and her siblings, Verdine Bergling, Iola Leland, Fran Grabbert, Karen Roush, Leland Shell, Emma and John.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Faust, Janine Bennett (Ben), Chris Bass, Matt Bass and Chad Bass (Jill); her grandchildren, Mike Faust (Alison), Megan Rigg (Matt), Kelli Harris (Justus), Sam Bass and Wendy Bass; her great grandchildren, Will, Max Faust, Forrest Rigg, Liv and Leo Harris; her siblings, Mary Lou Sullivan, Mahlon Shell (Fern) and Joyce Patten (Ken); and her sister-in-law Alma Shell. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Croix Hospice.
