He is survived by: his significant other Becky Wilson (Barstad) of Urbandale; his children, Brock Ford (Kristine) of Ankeny and Drennon Lakin (Jonathan) of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren, Parker Lakin, Nellie Lakin, Willow Lakin, Melanie Ford, Harlan Lakin and Lillie Ford; and his sister Deb Svaleson of Boone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
