Laura E. Herrig Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 14, 2026, at the age of 92, Laura E. Herrig of Boone, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Laura is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Laura's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Linn McConkey and Emily McConkey (Hoffman); her husband Fred Herrig; her daughters, Barbara Davidson, Susan Herrig and Linda Herrig; and her son-in-law Ron Davidson.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Haberman (Bill) of Spencer; and her grandchildren, Curtis Haberman (Danelle) of Storm Lake, Jill Sievers (Trent) of Albert City, Mary Pohlman (Matt) of Laurens and Amy Davidson of Boone. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; sixteen great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
