Michael J. Weigel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Weigel of Boone, Iowa, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Michael leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Madison Weigel. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Weigel and Marlene Weigel (Beck); his sons, Nathan Weigel (Sadie) and Trent Weigel (Makayla Gerlach); and his siblings, Angela Weigel, Matt Weigel (Shanda) and Brad Weigel. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nelson Park (305 Benton St, Slater, IA 50244).
