He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVerne Phillips and Pearl Phillips (Graham); his daughters, Teresa O'Brien and Debra Skinner; his in-laws, Harry and Ellen Kracht; his siblings-in-law, Ardis Filer, David Kracht, Richard Workman and Al Gerling; and his sons-in-law, Gary O'Brien and George Skinner.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Ann Kracht; his daughter Rebecca Casey (Brian) of California; his siblings, Mildred Gerling of West Virginia, Karen Workman of Iowa and Dan Phillips of Iowa; his grandchildren, Michael Mattson (Alyssa) of Iowa, Elizabeth Nederoff (Alex) of Wisconsin, Brynn Anderson (Cole) of Iowa and Bailee Casey of California; and his great grandchildren, Anna, Ryan Mattson, Colt, Aria Nederhoff, Laney, Charlie and Della Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
