In the vast expanse of eternity, Merle shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Merle farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry F. Hansen and Elvina Hansen (Christensen); his spouse Ardell Hansen; and his children, Richard, Beverly, Carolyn and Dave. He was also cherished by his 4 children and their spouses, 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Memorials can be made in his name to the Oakfield Cemetery and may be left or mailed to the funeral home at PO Box 523 - Atlantic, IA.
