He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Mullen and Patricia Ann Mullen (Waters); his sister Mary Jo Porter; and his brother-in-law Warren Lindquist. He is survived by: his children, Kyle Mullen (Brittany Smith), Jason Mullen (Nikia Pope), Greg Mullen and Tessa Mullen; his grandchildren, Merrick Mullen, Emmett Pope and Freya Mullen; and his siblings, Sharon Hewitt (Darryl), Russ Mullen, Jeff Mullen (Martha Avery), Dan Mullen (Karen), Barbara Lindquist, Patty Mullen and Steve Porter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reno Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the St. Timothy's Catholic Church-Reno Get.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family for the Recovery Center at Manning Regional Healthcare Center.
