He is survived by: his wife Jane Whitaker of Brighton, IA; his sons, James Whitaker (Susan) of West Burlington, IA and Richard Whitaker (Stephanie) of Mount Pleasant, IA; his grandchildren, Jasan, Tabitha, Aaron, Nathan, Gregory and Ryan; and his siblings, Lester Whitaker and Hazel Greiner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
