With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene M. Goepel of Britt, Iowa, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Philip Johnson and Ada Johnson (Salsaa); her husband Willard Eugene Goepel (Gene) of Britt; and her siblings, Donald Johnson (June), Wanda Hartwig (Robert) and LaVonne Harmon (Richard).

She is survived by : her children, Terry Goepel (Craig Remmen) of Mason City, Craig Goepel (Jean) of Britt, Carol Evers (Mark) of Cornelius, NC, Lana Goepel of Maple Grove, MN and Marty Goepel Mason (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Stacey Goepel (Kari), Sarah Burger (Mark), Laura Brayton (Andrew), Ryan Evers (Brandi), Nathan Evers (Elizabeth), Kristen Lubben (Chad), Steven Goepel, Keven Goepel and Michael Goepel; her brother Charles Johnson (Virginia) of Chula Vista, CA; and her close friends, Dee Kahler, Cynthia O'Shea, Dan Alne and Pearle Johnson. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
