James Brunsen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025, at the age of 80, James Brunsen of Britt, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Peterson; his grandson Connor Brunsen; his brothers, Larry and Dale Brunsen; his parents-in-law, Harold and Sally Peterson; and his siblings-in-law, Pete Peterson, Colleen Curley and Darla Brunsen.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Brunsen (Deserae) of Colorado Springs, CO and Tammy Lenox of Garner; his grandchildren, Colton (Tabitha), Myles Brunsen, Dillon, Skyler Lenox, Trevor and Paige Hosman; and his siblings, Richard Brunsen of Algona, Donna Banta of Garner and Sandra Brunsen of Clear Lake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Cataldo Funeral Chapel (160 E 4th St, Garner, IA 50438). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel (160 E 4th St, Garner, IA 50438).
