He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heyer and Anna Heyer (Folkerts); and his brother-in-law Dick Leerar. He is survived by: his daughter Lori Benjamin (Wilken II); his grandchildren, Wilken Benjamin III and Oliva Benjamin; and his siblings, Judy Leerar, Arlo Heyer and Bruce (Debra).
